Creating Links

It can be handy to create links in your text in order to make it possible to click from one page to another without using your menu. You can link to the same page, a new window or popup windows.

Creating a link from your editor

Drag and select the text you want to link and click on the 'Inser/Edit link'.

The following window will appear:

Select a 'Link type', 'Protocol' and enter a URL (this can be an internal or external URL). If you want to create a link to a page you created using your Webbdaddy control panel we advise you browse and select a link using the 'Browse Server' button.

The following window will appear:

Select the 'Resource type', > 'Pages' in the upper right corner of this window. The language directories are shown in the browser. If you created a page in English you will find it in the EN directory, if you created a page in Dutch you will find it in the NL directory and so on. The same goes for page you created in a specific folder.

Click on the page you wish to create a link to. The window will close and return to the previous window. If nessessary you can also edit the tabs 'Target' and 'Advanced'. Click OK to finilize this step.

Creating a link from the 'Menu's' option

Create or edit the menu according to the procedure. Click on the icon in the 'Link' Field.

The following window will appear:

Select a 'Resource type', in this case select 'Pages'. The language directories are shown in the browser. If you created a page in English you will find it in the EN directory, if you created a page in Dutch you will find it in the NL directory and so on. The same goes for page you created in a specific folder.

Click on the page you wish to create a link to. The window will close automatically. Complete this step by editing the other fields if nessessary and click OK.
