Inserting pictures and picture properties

You can insert pictures in your website just like you would inters pictures in your Word editor. You can also set picture properties such as alignment etc. using the editor so that text and pictures are combined into a nice webpage.

Create or edit your page according to the working method.

Insert a picture by clicking on the 'Insert/Image' button from your editor:

The following window will appear:

Click on 'Browse Server'

The following window will appear:

Use this window to select a picture that is already on the server or to upload a picture on the server for use in your website.

Before you upload a picture make sure you established a directory structure in order to prevent  confusion and piling up all your files in 1 directory. Create new directories by clicking on the 'Create New Folder' button on the bottom of this window)

To select a file that is uploaded to you server simply click the file name and this window will close by itself returning to the previous window:

In this window you can add properties such as the 'Alternative name' tag (also known as ALT tag which is used for search engines optimalisation). You can also edit width, height, alignment etc. and preview the results in the 'Preview' pane.

Klik OK to continue editing your page.
