List ’Menus’

In the 'List Menus' page you will fond the following:

• Active 
  • This option shows which menu is active. You can have several different menus and choose which on to activate on your website.
• Name
  • Name of your menu  
• Description 
  • Description of your menu
• Actions

Actions

•  Edit
  • Click this icon to edit an item 
•  Remove
  • Click this icon to remove an item 
•  Check box
  • Check this box to perform Group Actions. E.g.removing multiple items in one action. 

 Create a new ‘Menu’

To create a new Menu perform the following actions:

1. Click Tab My Website> Menu 
2. Click on 'New menu'
3. Enter all the required field and click 'Save' 
4. You are now redirected to your default language (view settings)
   1. You can create a different menu for each language.
5. Create your menu using the menu options.
    

 Edit ‘Menu item’

1. Click Tab My Website> Menu 
2. Click the ‘Edit’ icon of the menu you wish to edit 
   1. In case you want to edit a menu in a different language select the language from the Edit page
      
3. Your menu contains 'New item’ fields.
4. Click this field to add an item to your menu 
5. Enter the required fields:
   1. Text: Name of the menu item 
   2. Link: link to internal or external page 
   3. Icon: use this field in case you want to use an icon in your menu 
   4. Icon (mouse over): use this field in case you want to use a mouse over icon in your menu
   5. Target: select weather you want the link to be opened in the same page or in an external window 
6. Click ‘Save’
   1. The item will be saved. Repeat these steps to add another item Horizontally or vertically.

 Moving a ‘Menu item’

1. Click My Website > Menu
2. Click the ‘Edit’ icon of the menu you wish to edit 
   1. In case you want to edit a menu in a different language select the language from the Edit page
3. Click the item you want to move
   1. The properties of this item will appear
4. Click ‘Move item’
   1. The icon will turn into ‘Cancel move’
5. Click the location where you want to move this item to 
   1. Please note: the item you are about to move will be placed BEFORE the destination item
6. The item is now moved 

 Publish your ‘Menu’

To avoid publishing a menu on your website which you are still working on, you need to publish the menu before the changes are visible on your website. To perform this action click 'Publish Menu' in your menu editing mode.

1. Click My Website > Menu 
2.  
3. Click the ‘Edit’ icon of the menu you wish to edit 
   1. In case you want to edit a menu in a different language select the language from the Edit page
4. Click on ‘Publish menu’
5. Click 'Yes' 
6. The menu is now published on internet 

 Changing your ‘Menu properties'

To change the properties of your menu:

1. Click My Website > Menu 
2. Click the ‘Edit’ icon of the menu you wish to edit 
3. Click ‘Properties’
4. Edit your settings and click 'Save'.
