User Tab

This Tab contains:

  •  Webbdaddy users
    • These users have permission to your Webbdaddy account and can be created by Superuser or Administrator.
  •  My profile 
    • This is a direct link to your profile 

‘Users’ List and Blocks


The following is listed in the User list overview:

  • Block  
    • Blocked user (Click this icon to 'unblock' this user)
    • Unblocked user
  • Active users in your Webbdaddy account 
  • Actions 

Actions

  • (De)activate
    Clicking on this icon will cause this item to be activated or deactivated. This way you do not need to permanently remove an item.
     Active
     Inactive
  •  Edit
    • Click this icon to edit an item 
  •  Remove
    • Click this icon to remove an item 
  •  Check box
    • Check this box to perform Group Actions. E.g.removing multiple items in one action. 

 User permissions

You can add users with different permissions:

  1. Superuser
    1. This user has all possible permissions 
    2. This user can create other Superusers, Administrators and Editors
    3. This user can reset Passwords of other users
  2. Administrator
    1. This user has all possible permissions
    2. This user van create other Administrators and Editors
    3. This user can reset Passwords of other Administrators and Editors 
  3. Editor
    1. This user has the permissions set by it's creator 
    2. This user cannot create other users 
    3. This user cannot reset Passwords of other users 

 Add a Webbdaddy user

  1. Click Tab My Website > Users > Add
  2. Fill in all the required fields and click ‘Save’
  3. Based on the type of user you just created you can set it's permissions
    The password for this user will be automatically send to this users email address once this user is added 

 Change Password


You can change your password at any time.

  1. Click on Users > My profile
    1. change 

 Reset another User's password


For security reasons its not possible to change another user's password. However it's possible to reset the password to a randomly generated password. In order to do so you need to have the proper permissions.

  1. Click Tab Users > Users
  2. Click the  ‘Edit’ icon of the user you wish to reset the password for 
  3. Click on the  'Reset password' link. A new password will be generated and send to the user's email address.
